I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from York University. Prior to becoming a therapist, I served individuals from multicultural, diverse backgrounds and ethnicities for over a decade. I have worked in the community supporting individuals experiencing addictions. As a Mental Health Advocate, I understand the struggles and dynamics of a family unit and the challenges that individuals encounter. My aim is to support survivors whilst working towards greater personal understanding. I utilize a client-centered approach from a holistic, cultural, trauma-informed, and inclusive framework and integrate techniques such as Eye-Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so we will work collaboratively in a safe and non-judgmental space, understanding your values, culture, beliefs, and reality, while encouraging you to be the best version of yourself.
