Roselin Dixon

Roselin Dixon (she/her) is the Community Outreach and Communications Lead at the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre (ORCC), where she leads trauma-informed, community-rooted initiatives that support survivors of sexual and gender-based violence across the National Capital Region. She oversees social media and media relations, coordinates virtual and in-person events, and cultivates meaningful partnerships with community-serving organizations. Guided by a people-centered lens, Roselin works collaboratively to address the intersecting barriers that equity-deserving survivors face when accessing vital supports.

Roselin joined the ORCC full-time in July 2022. An alumna of Algonquin College’s Social Service Worker Program, her experience spans human resources, technology, mental health, and social services, with roles in recruitment, organizational development, marketing, program management, and community engagement.

Roselin currently serves as Co-Chair of Project Agape (2024–present), supporting wellness and safety for Black women and femmes impacted by gender-based violence. She is Chair of the Public Engagement Committee for the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW) and previously chaired Dandelion Dance (2017–2021), creating safe, inclusive spaces for girls and young women to explore leadership through movement.
